“I started the ABC Group in northern New Jersey in September, 1997, after belonging to other networking groups that did not meet my needs. The initial concept was to focus on HR consultants and trainers who wanted to meet together to network and share ideas. We soon evolved into a group of independent consultants and business owners with a multitude of disciplines and backgrounds.
Through the years we have had many people join and leave ABC – some because they got full time jobs, others because they moved out of the area, and for others The ABC Group was simply not a good fit. Throughout the time that we have been in existence, we have maintained a 10% marketing/referral fee, continued to be a resource to our clients and to each other, and provided personalized attention to our clients, focusing on customized and cost-effective results.
I have personally benefited from being a member of ABC through the many referrals I have gotten and through the many referrals I have given, as well as from the wealth of information I have garnished from present and past members of the group.
