The ABC Group Vision, Mission, and Purpose Statements
The ABC Group, founded in 1997, is the premier networking, information sharing, referrals, and business resources support organization for business owners, consultants, and coaches in Northern New Jersey.
Membership provides:
- Exchange of qualified referrals between members for new business opportunities, including a personal introduction
- A 10% referral fee will be paid to members who introduce other members to a successful engagement based on invoicing for a period of one year from initial invoice (see note below for details)
- A mastermind group of like-minded professionals to bring to bear the collective knowledge and business experience to brainstorm and help solve a member’s business challenges
- Pro-bono advice from fellow members and guest speakers that will help you grow your business
- Consulting and coaching for your business through regular member presentations, guest speakers, one-on-one meetings, and individual projects/assignments
- A trusted network of experienced business resources you can refer to your clients
Vision:
The ABC Group’s vision is that new as well as established business owners have easy and affordable access to information, mentoring, guidance, and other resources that support them in developing and managing a sustainable business.
Mission:
The ABC Group is an alliance of business owners, consultants, and coaches with broad based business knowledge and experience who provide information, mentoring, coaching, referrals, and business resources to support each other’s professional and personal growth.
Purpose:
The ABC Group exists to assist each other achieve our business goals and provide high-value services and products to our clients and customers.
Note: ABC Group members who are not legally or ethically prohibited must agree to pay a 10% marketing fee to any ABC member who furnishes a lead, contact or referral that results in paid work or business. The marketing fee will be paid for any and all work or business received as the result of that lead, contact or referral, for a period of one year. The one-year period will begin with the first day of paid work or business that results from the lead, contact or referral. The 10% marketing fee will be based on the full payment received from the client less any sizable direct costs or reimbursed expenses such as: significant equipment and software purchases needed to perform the assignment or major travel expenses etc.
